What are multi-style lessons?
The modern string player is often versed in contemporary genres as well as Western art music. As a violinist with degrees in classical and commercial performance, I encourage my students to explore multiple styles and find what they enjoy playing most. I teach the scales, exercises, and essential techniques and repertoire necessary to succeed in whichever style they desire to learn, whether it be classical, bluegrass, jazz, Celtic, rock, pop, or another genre of their choice.
Where can I take lessons?
I offer lessons online via Zoom or in-person for students in the Nashville area. For in-person lessons, I offer lessons at Williams Fine Violins, as well as in-home lessons.
How much do lessons cost?
1 hour ($70)
45 minutes ($55)
30 minutes ($40)
Payment is collected before lessons. For regular students, payments can be made in advance at the beginning of the month. Payment options include: Paypal, Venmo, cash, and check.
What is the lesson cancellation policy?
You can change the length, day, and time at least 24 hours before the lesson to avoid a lesson day cancellation charge. Lessons changed or cancelled with less than 24 hours notice will still be charged the regular amount for that lesson.
